This is the story of their home:
We researched log homes for approximately 5 years by attending seminars, inspecting models for materials and engineering and  meeting with various distributors, including flying to British Columbia to inspect the Original Log Homes  yard and the building of their log home packages.
Original Log Homes out performed all others in these areas and we decided to purchase their home package in the spring of 2000.
Blueprints were drawn up in B.C., engineered in Colorado and the homes was built in B.C. The logs were delivered with a log master and the home was re-erected with the help of several friends and some professional contractors in 4 days. A panel system roof was installed and our house was dried in within a month.
The home was completed in the spring and the logs have dried beautifully with minimal shrinkage. After finally living our dream, we are extremely satisfied with our decision to live in an Original Log Home.
